Proper Use:

  • Any roll-top dry sack must be closed properly to ensure water can’t get in.
  • Begin by folding the Hypalon™ strip down first and be sure to have at least three rolls before closing the buckle.
  • Avoid contact with sharp objects or subjecting the sack to high abrasion, as this could compromise the waterproof fabric.
  • Ultra-Sil Dry Sacks should only be used to store sensitive electronic devices when used in conjunction with another, heavier-duty dry bag – the “double bag” method. For maximum protection of electronics the use of a waterproof hard case with a mechanical seal should be considered.
  • This product is not intended for boating or marine use.

I have used multiple sizes for the last three years and they are AMAZING. It helps organize your pack and best of all it keeps the contents dry. Being from Colorado, this is a definite plus when you need to dig into your pack when there's lots of powder blowing around during the winter or during the summer in a serious downpour. In the off season, they pull double duty in helping you organize your suitcase (no more lost socks thanks to the TSA!). The only quibble I would have with these is that after a year of heavy use the band in the roll-top closure stays curved. Highly recommended for everyone!
