- First Ascent is cut closer to the body for a great, active fit with no bunching or binding. It is built as a complete system. All pieces - outerwear, insulating layers and baselayer - are cut so the body and sleeve lengths of each successive layer are slightly longer than the one underneath.

A great addition to my hiking/climbing/skiing wardrobe. Hoodie is functional and well designed. Fabric weight makes layering easy. Hood fits well and adds temperature control versatility. Plenty of zippered pocket storage space. Fits true to size and it's very comfortable to wear during active adventures. Only negative comment is limited color selection. Thanks for another well designed product First Ascent!!
