My only regret was that I didn't buy more while they were on sale for 29.99. I agree with the praise of the previous reviews, and also with the lack of warmth provided, that was a big disappointment. I can't imagine being at 20,000 ft. without something warmer. They feel cool against the skin, but they are the softest and the best to wear under jeans for protection from the cold in the Swedish winter.

I love the feel and fit of these but have to say I am disappointed in the lack of warmth provided under my jeans. I purchased these on the basis they were the guide's pick. I don't climb mountains. I merely want to stay warm in the Midwest winter when I venture outdoors. I cannot imagine using these at high altitude. Definitely would want something heavier. More on the positive: they launder nicely and stay soft and smooth even though we have very hard water. Love the below-waistline fit. Accurate sizing.

As thin as my second skin. Doesn't feel tight or bulky when wearing them under my jeans. Super comfortable and super warm. I also bought a pair of Smartwool Women's Lightweight Bottom, which I found a little itchy though same warmth. I find myself reach again and again for these paradise pants!!
