I've purchased three of these now because they are awesome. The finish on the fleece is nice and smooth and layers extremely well. I kinda want to live in it. I used it in several high exertion snow-related activities and it's been perfect. Top notch material and construction. I think the colors are better in person.

Eddie Bauer has done a great job with this new line of Everest tested mountain gear.Everything they said it would do,it did. This shirt is warm for its weight and made first rate. The addition of the pocket like the guide says serves a much wanted purpose. It just makes life a little simpler when you have options and this is the ticket.

I purchased the Cloudlayer Zip Top on Sunday and took it with me to Mt. St. Helens Tuesday. I had it on at 3:30am when we started our climb but got hot quickly and then shoved it in my bag. At the top I pulled it out again and it felt great. On the way down I lost my balance and fell on some screen/pumice. My elbow scrapped up some but I was very pleased to see the fleece only got dirty, no rips. I shoved it in my carryon for my flight home and easily pulled it out and put it on when it was cold in the airport and on the plane. I have only had it a few days but can see it will be a versatile take anywhere layer. I did end up going with the men's just because I prefer my fleece layers a little looser.

I just got the men's cloudlayer 1/4 zip top and I love it. I was suprised how warm it is since it is so lightweight. It looks and feels like it is quality made. This is definately something that I would recommend.
