These altitude-oriented mitts provide warmth while keeping weight and bulk to a minimum. The waterproof shells have thick fleece on the palms and synthetic insulation on the backs and the removable liners have the same fleece and loft combination. The fleece provides crush resistant warmth and a secure grip, while the synthetic insulation offers compressible warmth. Leather palms give you a solid connection with your gear in all conditions.

Haven't had a chance to use these yet but I can comment on a few things. They feel really warm and the removable liner will be a great feature up on the mountain. Idiot cord and one handed cuff cord to loosen and tighten are nice. As far as sizing, they seem a little on the large side. I have numerous brands of gloves, all med which these are, and they are definetely a little more roomy. Overall an awesome glove, well deserving of their reputation.

Great mitts. Hands were toasty at 17,200 camp on Denali at -25. Good grip with palms also.
