Exellent jacket,
I've used it on a trip to Oregon , was doing some crazy ppg in wet conditions, ( flying high in the clouds) not only was I dry, but wind protected as well. After a few flights it looked like I touched a muffler with the hood. Vent back to Eddie Bauer store for repairs and guess what... I've got the new one . wooow. Love Firs Ascent will DEFFINATLEY buy again.

The shell I took along was not geared for the conditions on Rainier. After finishing class the 1st day it was soaked and weighed a ton.This shell weighed next to nothing and I was still dry after 3 more days on the mountain. LOVE IT!
