Perfect bag for G12's. Stops you spiking anything in your pack (obviously) but the best thing I liked was that it kept my G12's tidy, compact, safe and out of the way. No dangling sharp edges hanging around outside the pack.

If you have 12-point crampons, such as Grivel's G-12, the Grivel Crampon Safe is a must have item as my G-12's don't fit in the "other guys" crampon bag. This bag will easily store the smaller 10-point G-10 crampons as well. The Crampon Safe's sleek size makes it easy to stuff into your backpack or tie it to the outside of your pack. The wide-mouth opening makes getting your crampons in-out of the bag simple. My only complaint is a bit of the dirt/sand from your dirty crampons can shake-out through the partial mesh panel on the bag's opening flap into your backpack.
