I love my Verglas Gaiters. I have been trying to find a set big enough to fit a big guy like me. This is the only gaiter that I could find to fit my big legs. I have also just recently done two big trips in the back country. Both of them turned out to be very wet, normal for fall in the pacific northwest. On both trips, I had other equipment fail in spots and leake. These never failed. There was not a drop of water or snow on my cloths or boots underneith. I love the snug fit and all the easy adjustments. I was even able to put them on using heavy snow gloves. I am planning on getting another set this spring. Dont want to be without a spare set again.
