Follow up review:
After 2 months, and a 3 day snow climb up to 14,000', I can say this is my new favorite piece!
I wore it with a base layer up to 11,000 on a sunny 55 degree day. Great sun protection with the hood up. When it got colder the next day I added a fleece under it up to about 12,500'. At night I even slept with it on. For the summit day I added a soft shell and used both hoods with a hat.
My son owns the First Ascent Hangfire Hoodie which he loves. I do too. My favorite fleece and this piece are close, minus the insulated hood. Plus I can wear it as a sun shield on a hot day and not overheat.
It is also exceptionally quiet unlike other similar jackets. Very soft, quiet, light, material. A+

Nice light weight wind shell that packs really small and works as promised. Though it feels flimsy it can take a fair amount of abuse without any wear or tear. Always pack it, great purchase for a good price - can't go wrong.

I really like this jacket. Perfect for 3rd layer on a mild day. I like to wear a base layer, fleece, and then this when the wind picks up. The hood is great and it packs to the size of my wallet.
