This snowshoe is excellent for winter ascents. They are lightweight, have a trelevator heel lifter great for long days. Steel saber teeth. Great for Denali

I love these shoes! The straps allow for quick ins and outs and comfort adjustments. The plastic isn't rigid, it flexes and allows you to put the steel tracks on edge while traversing icy patches... they go up and down bullet proof ice like you're on crampons... get the tails for deep fresh snow trips... they are great for running... and for climbing to fresh backcountry lines.

these are great shoes. get the 8 in tails though, your gonna need them. i weight about 180 and with a pack im way over 200 so in any sort of snow depth i seem to sink. shoes work well with the heal up feature, makes a lot of difference doing long climbs.

These snowshoes are the same as the original Denali model, with the addition of a elevator for the heel. The elevator is nice when going up really steep hills, but pushes you on to your toes when using them on a hill that is not steep enough. This really bother my toes, but I had a friend that did not mind at all. The teeth on the bottom grab nicely on ice and compacted snow. There are teeth underneath your toes which grab nicely when walking straight uphill. The siderails grab when traversing slopes.

These are the best. Lightweight and a heel-lift for ascending the mountain. Cannot say enough good things about this.
