Very nice gaiters. I bought them for the Aconcagua Climb and they were perfect for that mountain.

Great gaiters worn them over the last week Ice climbing in the Rockies. They fit smug over my Scarpa Guide boots and appear to be tough and durable I am pretty sure I got a crampon caught on them at least once over the last week yet no sign of damage/wear on the gaiter. They shed water and snow with no issues and keep everything beneath dry and warm whist treking through knee-waist deep powder or Ice climbing and getting showered from above. Sharpy

Great quality, nice features. I'd recommend you test fit on the actual boots you will use them with. They are meant for thicker expeditions-style boots so they may be too volumous for regular hiking boots.

I just purchased these in a size medium to go over some shell pants and a single leather boot (Nepal Evo) and they work great. A large would have definitely given me a few more options in terms of boot size, but for my uses, medium is fine. These gaiters are made of very tough material and seem like they will hold up for a long time. From here on out, these will be the only gaiters I will buy. Highly recommended.

I have owned these gaiters for about three years now and they are the best I have ever owned. I have used them in deep snow and hard crusted snow and they stand up to it all. My legs or feet have never got wet and they stand up well to the occasional crampon attack. after two years of use they are still in good shape and waterproof just like when they were new. the only thing I would probably change on them is I would make the velcro a little wider because with my double plastic boots and my bigger shell pants and socks a large is a little snug, but the extra large is definately too big. I am planning on using the same pair this upcoming climbing season so we will see if they hold up to a third year.
