A synthetic insulated camp bootie for mountaineering, winter camping, and even around the house! Now your feet and toes can be nice and toasty after a hard day on your adventure! The upgrade includes tie laces, to keep your foot secure in the bootie. What a welcome addition? These will be a favorite for all of your trips, year-round!

The Forty Below Camp Booties are insulated with a continuous filament polyester fiber, so they can provide insulation even if wet. This insulation goes completely around and under your foot. The sole is made of a special rubber dot material, along with a Cordura rand around the lower bottom, and a taffeta nylon upper, and taffeta nylon lining to make them easy to take on and off with wool socks on. One very important design element is that since there is flexible synthetic insulation under the foot, the Forty Below Camp Booties can be worn inside the plastic mountaineering boot shell when you remove your liner for drying. This is very functional because it gives you the ability to have warm feet around camp, be inside your plastic shell for comfort and support, while your innerboot liners are drying out for the next day. You can also put them inside Forty Below overboots! Great for keeping your feet warmer in the sleeping bag!

Bought a pair for Kilimanjaro and they were incredible, even outside at 19,000 feet. I wear them indoors and outdoors, and liked them so much I bought a pair for my boyfriend. Synthetic makes the most sense when you're outdoors as they dry much more easily than down. Not only is synthetic the warmest but it's also great for us as we're both vegan and don't buy or support down fillings. Hands down, great boots.

These are warm and comfortable. Only complaint is that the foam liners can slip around a bit inside when you walk around causing your foot to hang over the edge. I was also on the line between Large and XL so I went a size up after reading the reviews. The XL's ended up being like clown shoes so I sent them back and bought the larges which fit perfect.

Good quality but just not warm enough. Wore in 0 degree and minus 10 degree weather and my feet were barely warm enough. Needs more insulation. Pretty expensive for average performance.

I love this bootie. Used them on Aconcagua, but even more so on around my freezing cold home! My one critism is that I think the Mediums run small... them fitting a size 10 would be a stretch I think.

Love these things. Used them on May 2010 summit attempt with winter-like weather. At Camp Muir these were sweet. Inside feet stay toasty without the boots or sweaty liners. Slip these into the boot shell to venture outside into the snow.

Worked great. Never cold. Helped to keep feet warm in the bag before removing. I bought these a size bigger than I should have thinking it wouldn't matter (my size falls in between) but they were sloppy walking in camp so based on my own experience; I would buy at exact size or smaller if in between.

These are the Only camp booties to own. Synthetic materials will stay warm no matter the conditions. I just got back from a climb in Colorado with temperatures near 0 degrees F at night and my toes were warm as toast. Priced right too!

When,t on a back woods telemark trip on Mt Charleston,nv.The weathered nuked, temp plummeted and wind was 70+.When i had to venture outside my humble abode i slip these into my telemark boot shell and was warm and toasty, if secured snug around the ankle they also where capable of warming my feet in frigid temps. These booties rock.
