Designed to work with strap-on crampons only. The upper gaiter is made of uncoated Cordura nylon to minimize frost build-up. The front closure is heavy duty Velcro with snaps, and there is a drawstring closure with a cord lock on top. Under the foot you'll find neoprene for insulation, and a thin rubber sole for enhanced durability. This model is built for maximum durability so it is great for mountaineering, snowshoeing, and winter camping.
