These socks are nice and warm. I do not recommend them because they do not stay up. I wear them inside my Baffin APEX boots, and can only make it a few hundred feet before the socks are down around my ankles. That in itself wouldn't be so bad, but if left unchecked there, they soon slip below my heels.
Perhaps some rubber bands around the legs would keep them up?

I have been wearing this particular sock for a couple of seasons now & have not found anything to say against them. They are durable, warm and help keep moisture away from your feet. Make sure you turn them inside out when washing to keep that soft wool nice and fluffy.
