The overall protection of the glasses are great. They are large as advertised and fit bigger faces. The side shields fit well and block almost all light. The reason I rated these glasses only average is that they fog up very easily. I took them skiing and hiking in Alaska in April and had great difficulty seeing through the fog during any activity. Venting would help.

I wore these on a 2-day Rainier climb and they fit okay. I am a woman with a medium-sized face and a low bridge on my nose. These didn't cover as well as I'd like from the top (especially when you're looking down at where you're stepping on a sunny day) and kept slipping down my nose when I was sweating on the tougher sections. Good side coverage. For 2 days these were fine, in the future I am going to try a different model.

Great product and perfect fit. Small side shields, but they work surprisingly well. Light weight and great visibility. Julbo case is awkward, plastic and not padded.
