Solid mid-layer. Light weight, warm, comfortable fit (6'-190 got large). Held off the northwest drizzle pretty good but could use some pit zips.

Good jacket. Very light and packable. The chest pocket zipper is chincy. The hood does not adjust as well as I would like. I use the jacket as part of a multi layering system and when used in that way this jacket helps me stay warm in freezing temps.

I bought the non hooded version of this jacket, and have found myself wishing I had gotten the hooded version. This jacket can function as a belay jacket during late spring through early fall, but other than that works as a mid layer when sitting around camp. If looking for a end all be all belay jacket this is not quite it. For comparison this is a little lighter than a Patagonia Micro-Puff, but is nice to bring along on a rock climb. The fabric is pretty fragile, so I would not want to bushwack with it on. That said, I have had the jacket for over a year and have not managed to put a hole in it.

I really like this jacket, it has gone a long way for me backpacking and climbing all over Washington. It is very nice for moderately cold temperatures and that it can also be stuffed nicely in a pack without taking up too much space, however if it gets too cold then it is not quite enough. Has a comfortable fit. I also really liked what I got for the price I spent. It is a great jacket and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
