Outstanding, yes, good comment for this product (UV BUFF). I am not a mountain climber as of yet, but spend a lot of time outdoors (wooded hill lands of Pennsylvania). Perfect for those early morning walks, scouting, and extended time climbing my HILL (846feet is all), which is covered in snow and ice this year. I have also used the BUFF during late season deer hunting; with the snow this year and on stand all day. I would have to say again "Outstanding" by keeping face from windburn and dries quickly when sweating.
