In the military you rarely get to eat hot meals when your out on patrols. usualy its a plstic bag or power bars and beef jerky on the move. This stove kicks ass because it takes up so little space, weighs nothing compared to all the other gear we carry and gets coffe on like right now when you need to plan. A main meal of any MRE is done in 3min. 1.fill the cup 3/4 of the way up 2.bring the water to a boil. 3.place you main meal in the cup while the water still boils for two miniutes. If you only have fifteen minutes its well worth your time to eat it hot. (as an asside what ever the meal its always better with the crackers mashed up and dont forget to put some cheese on it.)RLTW!

Definitely the best stove I've ever owned. After trying several different backpacking stoves, this is the one that works for everything. Whether I'm going fishing, backpacking, climbing, or anything for that matter, it works really well because it is so compact and convenient. It is the first stove that I have ever seen that has such a well engineered storage system for keeping it all together and I love it. The electric start is also a great addition. This is a great investment if you are looking for a stove and recommend it to everyone.
