What a great pair of pants! I bought a pair in 2003-4 in Germany. Wore them almost every trip fall through Spring. Outstanding. At higher altitudes you will need another light base layer. I do not wear them very much in summer unless mild conditions are expected. The Scholler fabric has magic in it. Very water repellent and stretchy. Wears like tough canvas. Be careful of the European sizing as it is very different from our own. These pants are super and I highly recommend them.
