For increased comfort, the Contour Elliptic features a 15-degree corrective angle, 360-degree padded webbing, and ergonomic ovalized foam grip. The pole's dual FlickLock adjustment is efficient and simple to operate even with gloves on, in the dark, in a rainstorm, with 40-mph wind gusts. On the business end, the pole comes outfitted with Long Flex Tips and easy-to-swap-out trekking and powder baskets for year-round hiking versatility. The Compact is a shorter, 125 cm version with reduced grip size for smaller hands.
