What size pack is right for me?

Day hikes & everyday use: 15–30 liters (just enough for snacks, layers, water, and essentials).

Weekend trips: 35–50 liters (room for extra clothes, shelter, and food).

Extended trips or mountaineering: 60+ liters (designed to haul technical gear and overnight systems).

How do I know if a backpack will fit well?

Fit matters more than features. Look for:

A hip belt that takes most of the weight off your shoulders.
Adjustable torso length so the pack rides where it should.
Padded shoulder straps that don’t dig in when loaded.
