Climb Chile - Ski Mountaineering with RMI

RMI's Chile Ski Mountaineering program is 13 days across four volcanoes — Lonquimay, Llaima, Villarrica, and Osorno — combining long ski descents with lodge-based stays in the Chilean lakes district. Prerequisites are real: advanced downhill ability, comfort on black-diamond terrain, prior ski touring experience, and the cardiovascular base to handle 5,000 vertical feet a day with a 15–20 pound pack. It's not a beginner program — but it is one of the most enjoyable expeditions on the RMI calendar for skiers who already touring competently.

Our Ashford shop rents the touring and climbing pieces you need for Chile, all serviced between trips.
