Gokyo Trek

RMI's 19-day Gokyo Trek runs lodge-to-lodge through the western Khumbu — over the 17,585-foot Renjo La Pass and into the Gokyo Lakes basin, with day hikes to Gokyo Ri (17,575 ft) and the Fifth Lake under Cho Oyu. Far quieter than the EBC corridor; same world-class viewpoints onto Everest and Lhotse. Level 2 trekking; excellent fitness required, no mountaineering experience.
