Expedition Skills Seminar - Ruth Glacier

RMI's Ruth Glacier seminar is one of three Alaska Range expedition-skills programs they run — 11 days, Level 3, based out of the Don Sheldon Amphitheater after a fly-in from Talkeetna. Climbers train in glacier travel, crevasse rescue, fixed lines, snow anchors, and expedition camp life, with chances to attempt nearby ridges and summits as conditions and group fitness allow. RMI has guided in the Alaska Range for more than fifty years.
