Pick up at our Ashford store the day before your climb, or have it shipped to your door — domestic or international.

Take it up the mountain. The gear is built for it. Sized by people who use the same gear themselves.

Drop It Off Dirty
Return at our store, the 24-hour drop box, or via shipping. We clean and inspect every item between rentals.

How does local pick-up work?
Gear is ready the evening before or morning of your reservation at our Ashford store. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy — cancel at least 24 hours before your start date for a full refund. Once gear leaves the property it becomes non-refundable. Reservations can be up to 31 days.
How does shipping work?
Domestic orders ship at least 10 days before your climb. International / Denali trips ship 3–4 weeks before the orientation date — reserve at least 45 days in advance. International shipping costs are billed after we estimate the package weight. You are responsible for both-way shipping fees on international orders.
Can anyone rent gear — not just RMI clients?
Absolutely. Our rental portal is open to everyone. Whether you're hiking the Wonderland Trail, heading up Rainier independently, biking through Ashford, or prepping for your own international expedition — we're here for you.
What if something doesn't fit?
Contact us before your trip at [email protected] or (360) 569-2142. For shipped orders we send gear early so you have time to flag fit issues before you leave home.
Do I have to clean the gear before returning it?
No. Drop it off dirty — we inspect and clean every item between rentals. If the store is closed, use the 24-hour Gear Drop slot at the rental building.
