Our Take

This is the jacket we pull out when the mercury drops off the bottom of the thermometer. It hits a sweet spot that few other parkas manage: it’s incredibly warm thanks to the 800-fill down, but it doesn't feel like you're wearing a delicate trash bag. The LCP fabric gives us the confidence to actually climb and belay in it without fearing that one sharp crystal will result in a feather explosion.

LCP Ripstop Shell: The shell fabric features Liquid Crystal Polymer reinforcement for ultimate durability and tear resistance against rock and ice.

Belay-Ready Zipper: A two-way front zipper allows for easy access to your belay device without unzipping the entire jacket.
