Weather Protection Without the Bulk

The Black Diamond Men’s HighLine Stretch Shell is a fully featured, 3-layer alpine jacket built for fast-and-light mountain missions. Using BD.dry™ waterproof/breathable technology with an Empel™ water-repellent finish, it keeps you dry while staying breathable enough for high-output climbs and ski tours. Stretch fabric and articulated shoulder seams maximize mobility with a pack, and the lowered neckline adds comfort on long approaches. With pit zips for ventilation, a helmet-compatible hood, and a smart pocket layout, this shell is designed to perform in all conditions without weighing you down.

Substantial outdoor use — about a full season. Clear evidence it's been used. Undoubtedly second-hand, but fully functional.

    Many seasons of memories

Significantly broken in with multiple seasons of wear. May have minor cosmetic issues, but nothing that affects original functionality.

    Gear Cache Reviews

    Why Climbers love the cache

My MH Phantom Parka -Tier 2 arrived, and aside from there being a #16 written in, you would have never guessed this was a rental jacket. You can tell Whittaker takes care of their gear and rates it more than fairly for resale.

Used coat like new - Better than expected. no signs of previous use. great deal!

Jacket is in great condition-- practically new. The down lofts nicely and you can tell the jacket was well cared for. Shipping was quick and the price better than anything you could get on eBay or gear trade.

    — William B.

Love their system for used gear - although this was Tier 3, you really can't tell it had gone through much use.

    — Derek R.

I ordered tier 5 boots. They were surprisingly in better shape than I expected. A repair to the inside of the integrated gaiters was needed but after that the boots were ready to go for a few more seasons of climbing. Definitely worth it! Would buy again.
