Our Take

The Terravia Alpine Pants are the answer to the "leggings vs. cargo pants" debate. They are light enough that you don't feel weighed down on the approach, but the reinforced panels on the knees and seat mean you can actually scramble and chimney without shredding them on the first pitch. They are the perfect tool for long summer days in the alpine where speed and durability are equally important.

Reinforced Durability: Features extra paneling at the seat and front legs to boost abrasion resistance against rock without sacrificing weight.
Rock-Ready Mobility: Built with an articulated pattern and four-way stretch fabric to allow for high-stepping and stemming without restriction.
Harness-Compatible Waist: A low-profile waistband with a separating zip fly and adjustable belt sits comfortably under a harness or backpack hip belt.
Strategic Storage: Includes secure-zip front pockets with lie-flat construction and a right-thigh pocket positioned to sit comfortably above the knee and below harness leg loops.
Weather Protection: Finished with a DWR (durable water repellent) coating made without intentionally added PFAS to shed light moisture and mist.
Adjustable Cuffs: Low-profile shock cords and cord locks at the cuffs allow you to see your foot placements clearly.
